A Case of Sparganosis

Abstract
|

|
A 43-year-old Korean farmer complained having had a walnut-sized, soft, migratory subcutaneous tumor in the right upper thigh for the past 10 monthes: He had a long history of having eaten frogs and snakes since he was 20 years of age.
One live spargfinum was found from the lesion. Noticing an another pea sized subcutaneous nodule adjacent the lesion, the author tried a medical therapy. Despite of administration of Praziquantel (2dmglkg/d for 4 days), active sparganiim cguld be removed 9 monthes later. .
